: Well I guess the LaRue Tactical OSR , the HK 417 and the Knight Industry SR25 could be combined with the AR10 series as the are descendants of the Armalite AR10. -Phoenixent 06:35, 22 July 2010 (UTC) | : Well I guess the LaRue Tactical OSR , the HK 417 and the Knight Industry SR25 could be combined with the AR10 series as the are descendants of the Armalite AR10. -Phoenixent 06:35, 22 July 2010 (UTC) | ||
Does anyone know if this is the same weapon as (or related to) the new L129A1 DMR rifle being adopted by the British Army to replace the L96? I did a Google search, and the images I found showed a 7.62x51mm NATO AR-type platform that seemd to have the same combined reciever/forend design as this weapon (albeit with an M4-style telescoping stock). Anyone have any info on this? Orca1 9904 00:19, 15 August 2010 (UTC) |

Phoenixient, how come this isn't part of the M16 page? --AdAstra2009 05:20, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- For one, the rifle is a 7.62x51mm gun, not a 5.56x45mm gun. That caliber alone makes it closer to the AR-10 than the M16. :) MoviePropMaster2008 05:40, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Because this isn't an M16 variant. I mean the HK416 isn't part of the M16 page and it's got the most in common with it Excalibur01 05:28, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
