=Witcher= | |||
Witcher is a fantasy RPG developed by Polish studio CD Projekt Red in 2007 which the player control Geralt of Rivia, who is a "Witcher", which are special genetically enhanced monster hunters shunned by society. As the game focus more on sword play in a medieval-ish setting, firearms are rarely seen.
==Kar98K== | |||
A [[Kar98k]] appears on a tower in the Vizima outskirts. Given that the game date is set in 1270, it would be in theory be anachronistic by 665 years, even if must be noted that the calendar used isn't the Christian/Common Era one, and the date of the Congiuntion of the Spheres (when humans reached the Witcherworld) was in the year 230, albeit is unknown the Earth equivalent year. The canonicity of the gun is dubious at best, and be just an Easter Egg for the movie [[Saving Private Ryan]]. Sadly, this gun can't be used by Geralt.
