The Lost City of Z is a 2017 American action-adventure biographical film, written and directed by James Gray (The Yards). The film follows British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) during his lengthy and exhausting expedition to the jungle of the Amazon, where he accidentally encounters traces of an apparently extinct civilization, which no one has yet reported, and is soon convinced of the existence of a missing city, which he calls Z. Upon his return home, he finds that no one believes him and that the discovery is shrouded in the brain. Forced proof of his allegations, Fawcett once again breaks into the jungle of Brazil, accompanied by his now-grown son, Jack (Tom Holland).
The following weapons were used in the film The Lost City of Z:
Revolvers
Webley Mk. IV
The Webley .455 Mk IV is the most used handgun throughout the movie. It is used by Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), Henry Costin (Robert Pattinson), James Murray (Angus Macfadyen) and Arthur Manley (Edward Ashley). Jack Fawcett (Tom Holland) carries the revolver during the third expedition in 1925.
