It is exclusive to the Changeling, and is the only weapon the Changeling can use. In the original ''Pathologic'', it uses "Light Patron" ammo (its name a butchered Russian translation), which is described as .41 caliber. In ''Pathologic Classic HD'', the weapon instead uses revolver ammo.

==Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver==
The [[Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver]] appears as the "Revolver". It is the most common weapon in the game. The description in the game implies that this is the most modern weapon from available guns, and as a result rare (which, however, somewhat contradicts the above). The cylinder never rotates when fired.

==Flamethrower==
A flamethrower appears being used by certain army troopers as the plague worsens, a notable feature of the flamethrower is the ability to "burn out" the player's infection as flamethrower troops will try to burn the player if they are heavily infected and if they succeed in burning the player, but if the player has enough health and protection to survive, they will be "cured" of the infection though the extremely dangerous nature of this makes it ill-advised to rely on at all.
It cannot be used by the player, however, flamethrower fuel can be obtained from dead flamethrower soldiers, which appears as a large Jerry can in the inventory. The fact flamethrower fuel goes into the player's ''weapon'' inventory indicates that perhaps it may have been intended to be player-usable at some point.

Pathologic (2005)

Pathologic (Russian: Мор. Утопия; "Pestilence. Utopia.") is a 2005 psychological horror video game developed by Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge. An updated re-release of the game, titled Pathologic Classic HD, was released in October 2015, featuring improved graphics, cloud saves, and improved translations. A reimagined remake of the game is currently under development, titled Pathologic 2.

The game is set in a strange small town filled with odd people, incomprehensible culture, and odd architecture, stricken by a deadly sickness called the "sand plague". The player can choose from three player characters: the Bachelor, the Haruspex, and the Changeling (Pathologic Classic HD translation; she was known as "Devotress" in the original translation). The stories of the three characters happen in parallel, viewed from three different points of view. Players must interact with the townspeople, solve quests, and survive the deadly threats lurking around the town to uncover the strange truths behind the town.

Since Pathologic is primarily a horror game, not a shooter, and events unfold in a small, backwater town, firearms rare, there are no "powerful" guns, and ammunition is scarce.

The following weapons appear in the video game Pathologic:

Remington 1866 Derringer

The Remington 1866 Derringer appears as the "Derringer" in Pathologic, and is renamed to the "Double Barrelled Pistol" in Pathologic Classic HD. It is exclusive to the Changeling, and is the only weapon the Changeling can use. In the original Pathologic, it uses "Light Patron" ammo (its name a butchered Russian translation), which is described as .41 caliber. In Pathologic Classic HD, the weapon instead uses revolver ammo. Both the Derringer and Revolver are reloaded by being brought offscreen briefly instead of a proper reload animation.

Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver

The Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver appears as the "Revolver". It is the most common weapon in the game. The description in the game implies that this is the most modern weapon available in the region, and as a result rare (which, however, somewhat contradicts the above). The cylinder never rotates when fired. It is only used by the player, technically the town's patrolmen rarely carry it, however they are never actually seen using it with it only appearing on the corpses of specific patrolmen and them carrying ammunition for the revolver and other firearms when trading with them. It is the "weakest" firearm due to killing NPCs in merely two shots instead of one unless the player scores a headshot.
