Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection is the 1990 sequel to 1986's The Delta Force. Chuck Norris returns as Col. Scott McCoy, who leads members of the Force on a mission to rescue DEA agents from a brutal drug kingpin. Directed by Aaron Norris, the film was also released as Delta Force 2: Operation Stranglehold. In 1991, a third film, Delta Force 3: The Killing Game, which starred Mike Norris, the son of Chuck Norris, was released.

A two tone Micro Uzi (like as seen in Total Recall and The Running Man) were used by some of Ramon Cota's assassins to massacre the DEA agents at a carnival the beginning while disguised as party-goers. Carlos (Rick Prieto) uses a two-tone black and nickel one.
Delta Force commandos use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s with "slimline" handguards. Chuck Norris is also seen holding a MP5A3 with a mounted underbarrel rotary grenade launcher on the release poster.
