The Rage is a 1997 action movie directed by Sidney J. Furie and starring Lorenzo Lamas as FBI Special Agent Nick Travis who hunts for a terrorist group, consisting of veterans of a special unit of Vietnam War under leadership of completely insane Art Dacy (Gary Busey). Travis and his partner Kelly McCord (Kristen Cloke) are mistreated by their supervisor John Taggart (Roy Scheider) who blames Travis for ruining his career.
The following weapons were used in the film The Rage:
Pistols
Glock 17
Nick Travis (Lorenzo Lamas) and many other FBI agents and sheriff's deputies are armed with Glock 17 pistols.
Smith & Wesson 4506-1
Kelly McCord (Kristen Cloke) carries a single stacked Smith & Wesson pistol that appears to be Smith & Wesson 4506-1.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is John Taggart's (Roy Scheider) personal weapons. In one scene Taggart's pistol is seen in hands of Kelly McCord (Kristen Cloke), and in the final scene Nick Travis (Lorenzo Lamas) disarms Taggart and uses his pistol. Beretta pistols are also used by several sheriff's deputies and FBI agents.
M1911A1
Sheriff Len Dobson's (Brandon Smith) personal handgun is a nickel plated M1911A1 with pearl grips.
Desert Eagle
During the boat chase Art Dacy (Gary Busey) draws a Desert Eagle but has no chance to use it. The pistol is seen very briefly, so the exact version is unclear.
SIG-Sauer P226
While in the mental hospital, an assassin (Henry Kingi) in disguise uses what appears to be a suppressed SIG-Sauer P226 pistol.
Submachine Guns
SWD M11/9
SWD M11/9 SMGs are used in several scenes by Dacy's girlfriend Cyndi (Tiani Warden, the real-life spouse of Gary Busey in the time of filming) and several of Dacy's henchmen. Sheriff Dobson (Brandon Smith) is armed with M11/9 during the final shootout.
MAC-10
Besides SWD M11/9s, original MAC-10s are also seen in hands of Art Dacy (Gary Busey) and other members of his group.
Heckler & Koch HK94A3
Chopped and converted Heckler & Koch HK94A3s are seen in hands of SWAT troopers in several scenes.
Heckler & Koch SP89
Heckler & Koch SP89, converted to look like Heckler & Koch MP5K, are also seen in several scenes.
Uzi
A SWAT trooper fires an Uzi during the final shootout.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Ithaca 37 shotguns are widely used by Sheriff Len Dobson (Brandon Smith), sheriff's deputies and FBI agents.
A nickel plated Ithaca 37 with pistol grip is seen in several scenes. It is supposed to be the same movie prop.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Sheriff's deputies, FBI agents and Dacy's henchmen use Mossberg 500 Cruiser shotguns.
Remington 870
During the shootout in trailer park several sheriff's deputies carry Remington 870 shotguns.
Benelli M1
During the shootout in trailer park several sheriff's deputies carry Benelli M1 shotguns, fitted with Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights (it allows to identify these shotguns as M1s rather than M3s).
SPAS-12
SPAS-12 pump action shotguns are used by several sheriff's deputies. In the scene on Dacy's base both Nick Travis (Lorenzo Lamas) and Kelly McCord (Kristen Cloke) are armed with SPAS-12. During the followed car chase McCord's shotgun switches from SPAS to pistol-gripped Ithaca 37.
Rifles
Remington 700PSS
Various sniper rifles are seen in the flashback scene of the Waco Siege. The one of them that is seen more clear appears to be a Remington 700PSS.
Unidentified sniper rifles
Various sniper rifles are seen in the flashback scene of the Waco Siege.
Remington Model 760
In the flashback scene of the Waco Siege a Branch Davidian on guard is armed with a pump action gun. It is fitted with a sniper scope so it appears to be a rifle rather than a shotgun. Remington Model 760 seems to be a reasonable guess.
Assault Rifles
M16A1
M16A1 assault rifles are seen in the flashback scene of the Waco Siege. Bobby Joe (Dell Yount) uses an M16A1 during the final shootout. Also M16A1s with A2-style handguards are seen in hands of Art Dacy (Gary Busey) and several of his henchmen.
Norinco Type 56
Some of Dacy's henchmen are armed with AK-style assault rifles, most likely Norinco Type 56.
Norinco Type 56-1
Norinco Type 56-1 rifles with folding stocks are also seen in hands of Dacy's henchmen.
AIMR
During the final shootout Nick Travis (Lorenzo Lamas) is armed with an AK Carbine with drum magazine that appears to be a Romanian AIMR.
Other Weapons
M79 grenade launcher
Cyndi (Tiani Warden) uses an M79 grenade launcher in several scenes. When firing, it switches to Cobray CM79LF 37mm Launcher.
Cobray CM79LF 37mm Launcher
Cyndi's (Tiani Warden) M79 grenade launcher switches to Cobray CM79LF 37mm Launcher in firing scenes.
