Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is widely seen with East Asian terrorists (The novel mentions that they're North Korean) disguised as Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces Fleet Traning Group (JMSDF FTG) sailors. Seaman (and also Defense Agency Intelligence Service agent) Kou Kisaragi (Ryo Katsuji) and Chief Petty Officer Hisashi Sengoku (Hiroyuki Sanada) seize them while fighting against the hijackers.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Heckler & Koch USP is used by Major Pao Yeung Fan (Kiichi Nakai) as his sidearm after seizing control of the Isokaze.
Minebea P9
The Minebea P9 is seen with the JMSDF, like the rest of the JSDF, as its standard sidearm.
Stechkin APS
The Stechkin APS is seen with a female terrorist named Choi Joon-hee (Min-seo Chae) as her sidearm after infiltrating the Isokaze by submarine.
Walther PPK
The Walther PPK is seen with Kisaragi after he's accosted by Sengoku, who takes it from him.

The Heckler & Koch MP5A4 is seen with some East Asian terrorists after seizing control of the Isokaze.

A SIG SG 552 is seen with combat divers from the DAIS Special Operations Force (SOF) when deployed at Japan Defense Submarine (JDS) Setoshio.

The JM61A1 Vulcan, the licensed version of the M61A1 Vulcan, is see with Japanese Air Self-Defense Forces (JASDF) F-2 fighters scrambled to intercept the hijacked Isokaze.
Phalanx CIWS
The Phalanx CIWS is seen on the Isokaze and JDS Urakaze.
Grenades
M67 hand grenade
The M67 hand grenade is used by the terrorists after they drop their FTG disguise. Note that the grenades itself are in black color, likely to indicate that they're just inert replicas.
