Flintlock Pistol

The Flintlock Pistol is the most popular firearm in the film. Edward Teach aka Blackbeard (Robert Newton) carries two Flintlock Pistols and fires them many times. Ben Worley (William Bendix), Gilly (Skelton Knaggs), Jubal (Keith McConnell), Sorrel (Sol Gorss) as well as pirates (Leo Abbey), (George Bruggeman), (Cecil Combs), (Rus Conklin), (Taylor Flaniken), (Al Haskell), (Chester Hayes), (Tom Humphries), (Stubby Kruger), (Bob Morgan), (Peter Ortiz), (Jack Perry), (Cap Somers), (Pat Valentino) and (Terry Wilson) also use flintlock pistols. Edwina Mansfield (Linda Darnell) and Robert Maynard (Keith Andes) fire flintlock pistols several times. Sir Henry Morgan (Torin Thatcher) carries a flintlock pistol on his belt, but never fires it.
