It stars Lou Taylor Pucci, Chris Pine, Piper Perabo, and Emily VanCamp as four survivors of a viral pandemic attempting to avoid becoming infected. Filmed in the summer of 2006 in New Mexico, it received a limited release in the United States in 2009, following Chris Pine's starring role in the Star Trek reboot.
The following weapons were used in the film Carriers:
M1911A1
Brian Green (Chris Pine) uses a Stainless Steel M1911A1 throughout the film. The M1911A1 changes hands several times in the film, Frank (Christopher Meloni), Danny (Lou Taylor Pucci), and Kate (Emily VanCamp) all use it as well. Near the end of the film it is revealed that Danny stole it from his parents dresser.
Norinco Type 56
A Norinco Type 56 along with another rifle are kept in the survivalists' 'sealed' room at the golf resort.
