In the story of Flyboy, Farmer Horace Spivey (Ralph Drischell) uses a Savage Model 69RXL shotgun with an extended mag tube which he names "Betsy". He uses the shotgun to shoot at Gordy Belcher (Michael Bower) when he catches the boy on his property.
