The Terminal (2004)

The Terminal is a 2004 comedy drama directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Tom Hanks as Victor Navorski, a citizen from the country of Krakozhia, who finds himself stranded in the terminal of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York when his country is in political turmoil and his passport is no longer valid. The cast includes Zoe Saldana, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Stanley Tucci and the film was inspired by a true story of a man who found himself stuck at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport in France for 18 years.
