The Life of Klim Samgin (Zhizn Klima Samgina) is a Soviet 1988 (filmed in 1983-1987) TV series directed by Viktor Titov and based on the eponymous novel by Maxim Gorky. It depicts the panorama of Russian life from 1877 to 1917, seen through the eyes of Klim Ivanovich Samgin, a lawyer and reluctant revolutionary.
The following weapons were used in the film The Life of Klim Samgin (Zhizn Klima Samgina):
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used in the series, notably in Eps.8-10, depicting the revolutionary events in Russia in 1905. Most if not all revolver are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
In Ep. 2, set in 1894, young Klim Samgin (Leonid Gorelik) holds a Webley Bulldog that belongs to Konstantin Makarov (Sergey Koltakov). In Ep.10, set in 1905, Klim Samgin (Andrey Rudenskiy) owns a Bulldog. Samgin's revolver is also used by a revolutionary Yakov (Vadim Yakovlev) who commands a barricade on Moscow street near Samgin's house.
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s, are used by Russian Army soldiers, Russian police personnel and revolutionaries during the Moscow uprising of 1905.
Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are used by Russian Dragoons and Cossacks during the Moscow uprising of 1905 (Eps.8-10). An M38 Carbine is carried by a soldier in Ep.14, set during the Great War.
