The Last Inspection (a direct transtalion of original title Poslednyaya inspektsiya) is a Soviet 1985 made for TV two-part adventure movie directed by Eduard Khachaturov. In 1927 a group of experienced Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police) detectives are sent from Moscow to Tashkent to help local law enforcers to eliminate a gang that terrorises the town and vicinity.

Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by various characters, including a trio of Moscow detectives - Mikhail Bogdanov (Viktor Tarasov), Gleb Scherbatzkiy (Boris Plotnikov), and Ivan Baulin (Boris Tokarev), Tashkent militsia personnel and criminals. All revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model
A Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model is used by a criminal during the assassination attempt on Scherbatzkiy.
Pistols
Mauser C96
A Mauser C96 is a personal weapon of the Chief of Tashkent militsia Riza Iskanderov (Murad Radzhabov). Several of militsia personnel and bandits also use Mauser pistols.
Tokarev TT-33
What appears to be an anachronistic TT-33 is seen in hands of Basmachi chieftan Mirza Yusuf (Ulmas Alikhodzhayev).

Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles are used by Tashkent militsia personnel and Red Army soldiers.
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are also seen in hands of militsia personnel.
Karabiner 98k
During the attack on the train a Basmach holds out of time and out of place Karabiner 98k rifles.
Machine Guns
Degtyaryov DP-27 (visually modified to resemble Lewis)
The gang leader Rostislav Chugunov alias Saratovskiy (Viktor Saitov) uses a Degtyaryov DP-27, visually modified to resemble Lewis.
