The Lark (Zhavoronok) (Russian Title: Жаворонок) is a 1964 Soviet World War II drama directed by Nikita Kurikhin and Leonid Menaker. In summer 1942 Germans test new anti-tank shells. As the targets they use captured Russian tanks driven by captive Soviet soldiers and civilian prisoners of concentration camps. One of the tanks escapes from a captivity.
