'''''The Kennedys''''' is a 2011 television miniseries that chronicles the lives and events surrounding the men and women in the Kennedy family from the elections of John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy up until their assassinations.  The miniseries was directed by Jon Cassar (a producer of ''[[24]]'') and starred [[Greg Kinnear]] as John F. Kennedy, [[Katie Holmes]] as Jackie Kennedy, and [[Barry Pepper]] as Bobby Kennedy. The series originally was going to air in the US on the History Channel, however, controversies surrounding its depiction of events caused the cable channel to pull its support. The series eventually aired on the Reelz Channel in the US and on History Television in Canada.
