The following weapons were used in Season 6 of the television series The Expanse:
Handguns
Springfield Armory XD(M)
The 1st Gen "Martian Pistol", heavily modified version of the WE X Series IPSC Airsoft Pistol, itself based on the Springfield Armory XD continues to be used by James Holden (Steven Strait) and Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) after they acquired them in Season 1. Members of the Martian Marine Corps are also seen carrying them as their standard issue sidearm throughout the season.
Note: In the context of the show, the weapons are stated to be "designed to fire both self-propelled rounds and traditional cartridge rounds, the rear of the barrel is vented at the back to eliminate recoil for use in zero-g situations".
Glock 26 Advanced
The "Star Helix Pistol", which is actually a visually modified Glock 26 Advanced Airsoft pistol (a fictional variant of the Glock 26 with an accessory rail, grip extension and compensated extended barrel originally manufactured by Tokyo Marui) continues to serve as the sidearm of many individuals in the series. This includes the United Nations Navy and most members of the Free Navy, such as Rosenfeld Guoliang (Kathleen Robertson). Camina Drummer (Cara Gee), Josep (Samer Salem), Liang Walker (Stuart Hughes) and other members of her independent faction also carry them as their weapon of choice.
Note: In the context of the show, they are described as a "common gun made from plastic polymers so it can be 3D printed cheaply and reliably. It is designed for reliability and ease of use".
Tippmann TIPX (Olive)
The "Heavy Belter Pistol", which is in reality a modified Tippmann TIPX paintball pistol, continues to be carried by Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) and Filip Inaros (Jasai Chase-Owens) throughout the season.
Submachine Guns
TDI Vector
The TDI Vector is carried by Free Navy guards protecting Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) on Ceres Station in "Strange Dogs" (S6E01).
Rifles
Heckler & Koch SL8-4
The "Star Helix Long Gun", which is actually an Airsoft Umarex SL9 resembling a Heckler & Koch SL8-4 with a G36K length barrel, handguard, and various futuristic modifications serves as the rifle of choice amongst many factions in the series. The United Nations Navy carries tan variants, whereas some members of the Free Navy carry differently modified versions in "Azure Dragon" (S6E02) and "Redoubt" (S604).
Assault Rifles
APS UAR
The "Martian Long Gun", which is actually a slightly modified APS UAR Airsoft rifle, is seen in the armory of the Rocinante throughout the season, as well as in the hands of members of the Martian Marine Corps.
FN SCAR-L
A heavily modified SCAR again appears as the trademark auto-shotgun carried by Amos Burton (Wes Chatham). A magwell cover prevents the type from being identified.
CSI XR-5 FG-1502
Some rifles carried by members of the United Nations Marine Corps on Ceres are in reality a modified CSI STAR XR5 airsoft gun manufactured by CSI. The airsoft weapon is specifically designed to be a Science Fiction variant, and is described as an "Advanced Main Battle Rifle".
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
The Rocinante is equipped with six "Point Defense Cannons" that resemble GE M134 Minigun's. The FN Pella, also a former ship in the Martian Congressional Republic Navy, has the same variant of PDC's.
Note: in the context of the show, the PDC's are said to be manufactured by Nariman Dynamics and chambered in 40mm.
Goliath Powered Armor Minigun
The Martian Marine Corps Goliath powered armor worn by Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams) in "Azure Dragon" (S6E02) and other Force Recon Martian Marines in "Force Projection" (S6E03) contains an inbuilt minigun in the right arm.
Grenade Launchers
Brügger & Thomet GL-06
A Free Navy soldier in "Azure Dragon" (S6E02) is seen carrying a grenade launcher, which appears to be a heavily modified Brügger & Thomet GL-06s with an additional FN40GL grenade launcher inverted and mounted on top of the barrel. These weapons were previously seen used by Protogen mercenaries throughout Seasons 1 and 2.
