The Edge is a 1997 adventure film directed by Lee Tamahori (Die Another Day) and written by David Mamet. The film stars Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin as men who find themselves struggling to survive following an airplane crash in the wilderness.

Winchester Model 1886
Bob Green (Alec Baldwin) finds a Winchester Model 1886 rifle as he and Charles Morse (Anthony Hopkins) enter a hunter's cabin. He later is seen holding the rifle outside.
