The Action (original title Aktsiya) is a 1987 Soviet war movie directed by Vladimir Shamshurin. In Summer 1943 a small group of Soviet commandos is sent in German rear with a mission to locate Abwehr training school and capture the documents about the German spy ring.

Tokarev TT-33 pistols are seen in hands of Syomin (Boris Galkin), Masha Sergeeva (Yekaterina Vasilyeva (II)) and Alik Volkov (Artyom Kaminsky).

Kareev (Oleg Strizhenov) carries a Luger P08 in several scenes. P08s are also seen in hands of German officers.

A Walther P38 is used by Maj. Syomin (Boris Galkin) in one scene.

MP40 submachine guns are carried by German soldiers. Syomin (Boris Galkin), Masha Sergeeva (Yekaterina Vasilyeva (II)), Seva Veselov (Aleksandr Novikov) and Alik Volkov (Artyom Kaminsky) use MP40s during the mission.

MP38s are seen in hands of Alik Volkov (Artyom Kaminsky) and Kareev (Oleg Strizhenov).
