:I'm pretty sure it is a [[Smith & Wesson Model 586]]. While I suppose it is possible that a movie armorer got hold of one of the Brazilian contract S&W Model 586 revolvers with the 2.5" barrel (made in 38 Special and 123 overrun units were sold in the United States in 93/94) and then had it nickel plated I find it highly unlikely.
