Rocky Mountain Arms "M16-Style Pistol" Patriot - 5.56x45mm

Discussion

Why isn't this in the M16/AR-15 page?

Technically it is an ultra-compact semi auto carbine AR-15 variant. If we can have The Colt 9mm smg (which I consider an abomination to the AR-10 derived weapons) in that section, shouldn't this be thrown in as well? Lurker McNasty 18:13, 14 October 2011 (CDT)

A possible explanation is that every weapon on the M16 page is either an original Colt Design, a clone of a Colt Design or a replica or impersonator of a Colt Design. Colt NEVER created a weapon like this, so it is listed under it's original manufacturer. A thought. MoviePropMaster2008 00:39, 14 October 2011 (CDT)
Yeah, I suppose you're right, didn't think of that. I guess if you were to put this in the AR-15 page you'd have to put the H&K HK-series of rifles in and the KAC SR25s etc., and it'd just create a big mess. Lurker McNasty 18:12, 14 October 2011 (CDT)

Pistol?

I know legally it's a pistol, but shouldn't this be categorised as a carbine in our listings? It's a compact assault rifle firing an intermediate round. Evil Tim 04:19, 15 October 2011 (CDT)
