After so many years, I think we should take a look at those unidentified hunting rifles by now. They could just be current production [[Remington 700 BDL]] rifles; but if they are indeed sporterized [[1896 Swedish Mauser]]s, I have found some sites with images for comparison: [https://www.ingunowners.com/forums/long-guns-rifles-shotguns/281308-6-5x55-swedish-m96-mauser-sporterized.html], [https://www.icollector.com/MAUSER-MODEL-M96-SPORTER-CALIBER-6-5-X-55-SWEDISH-MAUSER_i29784498]. The hunting rifles the search party guys carry and the rifles in that case seem to be the same rifles (or at least the same model). There are some rifles mounted on the wall in Harald Vanger's house, when Mikael inquires about his photographs. I haven't got the means to capture Blu Ray, but if someone could cap those that'd be great. BreezyFresh 08:51, 9 May 2012 (CDT)

Identifying those rifles
After so many years, I think we should take a look at those unidentified hunting rifles by now. They could just be current production Remington 700 BDL rifles; but if they are indeed sporterized 1896 Swedish Mausers, I have found some sites with images for comparison: [1], [2]. The hunting rifles the search party guys carry and the rifles in that case seem to be the same rifles (or at least the same model). Thoughts? --Dan San (talk) 23:17, 6 September 2020 (EDT)
