The [[CAA Tactical RONI]] is used by underground treasure hunter Yoshino Somei as her personal weapon. This replaces the GIAT FAMAS that she used in the "Forest of No Return" manga arc. That arc also debuted the RONI, which is outfitted with the Glock 18C. Kenichi Kaneko, who helped David productions animated the firearms used in the anime, confirms this on his twitter. | The [[CAA Tactical RONI]] is used by underground treasure hunter Yoshino Somei as her personal weapon. The following weapons were used in the anime series Spriggan (2022):
Pistols
CAA Tactical RONI
The CAA Tactical RONI is used by underground treasure hunter Yoshino Somei as her personal weapon. This replaces the GIAT FAMAS that she used in the "Forest of No Return" manga arc. That arc also debuted the RONI, which is outfitted with the Glock 18C. Kenichi Kaneko, who helped David productions animated the firearms used in the anime, confirms this on his twitter.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is seen as a recurring sidearm.
Glock 19
What appears to be a Glock 19 is used by Professor Mauser in "Berserker" after he gets wounded when the ancient mech by the same name awakens. Yoshino appears to use it in "The Forgotten Kingdom" as her personal sidearm.
SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226R is seen with the ARCAM Private Army as their sidearm.
SIG-Sauer P226 TACOPS
Yu Ominae uses a SIG-Sauer P226 TACOPS as his preferred sidearm, replacing the P226 in the manga. According to Kaneko, he said that the decision was made in order to update their weapons since the storyline in the manga was updated to be in the present day post-September 11 in the year 2022.
SIG-Sauer M11-A1
The M11-A1 is seen in "Berserker". Lieutenant Colonel Maria Clemente uses it while she heads the base's control room. This is different from the manga, where she doesn't get a weapon and simply defends herself from Professor Mauser with her fists.
Starter Pistol
A starter pistol is used by a Shogakukan Daisan High student in a sports festival near the end of "Berserker".
Walther P99AS
The Walther P99AS is used by Colonel Kutheimer's Neo-Nazi faction in Egypt, replacing the Walther P5 as seen in the manga. All of them are seen with olive drame pistol frames.
Submachine Guns
LWRC SMG-45
The LWRC SMG-45 is used by Kutheimer's Neo-Nazi faction in Cairo in "The Crystal Skull", replacing the Walther MPs in the manga.
Assault Rifles
AS Val
The AS Val is used in "Flame Serpent" by 45th Guards Spetsnaz Detached Brigade commandos operating in the Mount Fuji region.
FN SCAR-L
The FN SCAR-L is used by the majority of Machiner's Platoon commandos as their primary assault rifle, being a unit that operates under USSOCOM command. MP commandos operating in Mount Ararat use SCAR-Ls with white camo paint. In "The Forest of No Return", Trident Corporation mercenary Iwao Akatsuki is seen taking a SCAR-L from a MP commando zombie. This is likely a reference to the manga, where he was originally carrying the Steyr AUG since TC mercenaries are often outfitted with Steyr-made arms.
Heckler & Koch G36K
The Heckler & Koch G36K is used by Yu as his preferred primary weapon, replacing the Heckler & Koch G3A3/G3A4 he previously used in the manga.
Heckler & Koch G36C
The Heckler & Koch G36C is used by ARCAM Private Army soldiers as their primary weapon, outfitted with the IDZ stock. In "The Forgotten Kingdom", Captain Steve H. Foster and his crew use them in Ghost Island. In the manga, they're outfitted with a variety of small arms. Kaneko mentioned in his twitter that this was done in order to give them a sense of realism since an organized paramilitary unit would need to have standard weapons in order to share ammo.
Heckler & Koch XM8
The Heckler & Koch XM8 is used by Trident Corporation mercenaries, replacing the Steyr ACR as used in the manga. Yu and Yoshino use captured XM8s throughout "The Forest of No Return".
M4A1 carbine
A M4A1 carbine is used by some British troops hiding behind the sandbag barricade in "Berserker".
Mk 18 Mod 0
The Mk 18 Mod 0 is used by British troops in "Berserker"", replacing the SA80 as used in the manga. This is incorrect as they would either use the L85A2 (or L85A3, depending on how far the anime is in the present day). Yu takes one while he tries to hunt down for the Berserker. The Mk 18 Mod 0 is also seen with an armed man in the stinger of "The Forgotten Kingdom".
Steyr AUG
The Steyr AUG is used by Kutheimer's Neo-Nazi faction in "The Crystal Skull".
Battle Rifles
FN SCAR-H
The FN SCAR-H is used by American soldiers outfitted with heavy armor. Kaneko said via twitter that the armored soldiers have modules on their helmet visors that help them aim the SCAR-Hs.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 is used by French Spriggan operative Jean Jacquemonde as his preferred primary weapon.
Sniper Rifle
Accuracy International AW
The Accuracy International AW is seen in "Berserker" with British troops.
Machine Guns
Arm Machine Gun
An arm-mounted machine gun is used by MP commando Hummingbat in "Flame Serpent". This is unlike the manga version, where he uses a Beretta M9 pistol instead.
Browning M2 Aircraft
The Browning M2 Aircraft is seen on the wrecked remains of a B-29 Superfortress bomber known as Thunder Bolt and on a crashed Grumman TBF Avenger in "The Forgotten Kingdom".
L7A2
The L7A2 Machine Gun is seen in "Berserker" with British troops.
M61 Vulcan
The M61 Vulcan is used by MP commando Fatman as his primary weapon in "Noah's Ark" when MP commandos storm ARCAM's Mount Ararat Research Center.
Grenades
M67 hand grenade
The M67 hand grenade is used throughout "The Forest of No Return", but mostly by Yoshino as she uses it as her weapon when she needs to cause heavy casualties. Yu uses in "Noah's Ark" and in "The Crystal Skull" to toss it in the truck used by Kutheimer to escape from Cairo since he's using the Crystal Skull as a last ditch effort to get away.
Grenade Launchers
Milkor MGL Mk 1L
The Milkor MGL Mk 1L is seen with MP commando Little Boy as his primary weapon in "Noah's Ark", which he later looses after Jean takes it out. This replaces a custom howitzer-type, arm mounted grenade launcher from the manga.
Missiles
9M17 Fleyta
The 9M17 Fleyta, aka the AT-2 Swatter, is seen on a Mil Mi-24 gunship chasing Yu in the OP sequence, "Seeking the Truth feat. YAHZARAH".
Rocket Launchers
Pansarskott m/86
The Pansarskott m/86 is seen in "Noah's Ark" with APA forces, including Jean. It's seen with British troops fighting APA forces in "Berserker".
SA-18 Grouse
A SA-18 Grouse is used by a 45th Guards Spetsnaz Detached Brigade commando near Mount Fuji in "Flame Serpent".
Heavy Weapons
Bofors 40mm
The Bofors 40mm is seen in "The Forgotten Kingdom" with the USS Eldrige.
