Soviet Border (original title Na granitse ("On the border") is a Soviet 1938 B&W movie directed by Aleksandr Ivanov. It depicts a local Soviet-Japanese conflict in mid-1930s on the border of USSR and Manchukuo.

Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are service sidearms of Soviet Border Guard officers. Several saboteurs also are armed with Nagants.
Nambu Type 14
Capt. Numata (Yuri Lavrov) and several other Japanese Imperial Army officers are armed with Nambu Type 14 pistols.
Mauser C96
Most Japanese Imperial Army officers carry Mauser C96 pistols. Mauser pistols are also seen in hands of saboteurs and former White Army cossacks, like Volkov (Erast Garin), Nikodim Gubin (Nikolay Michurin) and Usvakh (Evgeniy Nemchenko).
