Redirects needed
This page needs to be able to come up when someone enters "type 86s" into the search form. Needless to say, it needs to be case-insensitive so as long as the spelling is right, capitalization shouldn't matter. --Mazryonh 06:54, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
Some Questions about this assault rifle
I've read that the "fish-lips" flash suppressor on the muzzle was also intended to act as a makeshift and noisy wire cutter (supposedly operated by putting the fishlips to the wire so it sits as far back in the horizontal v-cut as possible, then pull the trigger). Can anyone verify this, and if they do, include it in the wiki entry?
Furthermore, how does this bullpup 7.62x39mm firearm compare to its modern Russian cousins? By "Russian cousins," I mean modern Russian assault rifles in the same caliber, like the AK-103 rifle, the AK-104 carbine, or the 7.62x39mm version of the OTs-14 Groza bullpup rifle? Anyone here actually fired the Type 86s and any of those aforementioned firearms?--Mazryonh 06:54, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
