House of Cards is a Netflix original series that initially starred Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, an ambitious US Congressman who is willing to go to any length to climb the ladder of power in Washington. He is accompanied by his wife Claire (Robin Wright), who has ambitions of her own. Throughout the series, Underwood breaks the "fourth wall" and speaks directly to the audience about his motivations.
