No it's a Stevens Model 620 (mfd: 1927 - 1955). Manufactured by Stevens the Model 620 was a John Browning design as well.--Jcordell 01:58, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I noticed that a single anonymous member back in May 2009, really dumped a load of excessive info on the summary of the page.  A simple google search indicates that most of it is lifted wholesale from Wikipedia's information page on the Winchester M1912.  This is a violation of IMFDB rules and is unfortunately typical of the 'drive by' edits done by anonymous members who swoop in, do a bunch of edits that are wrong, and leave never to be heard from again.  If you're wondering why I deleted it, this is why. I was just wondering if the Winchester came with an 8-round tube like the Remington 870, or is that completely wrong? As much as I know about this weapon I haven't seen it with a modification such as this and was just wondering if it exists.
:The mag tube end was throwing me off. Someone listed it as an 870 on the Bioshock page, which is not even close.--Predator20 02:36, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah in all fairness the 620 can fool people when comparing it to the Model 12. Best way to ID it is to look at where the stock meets the reciever behind the trigger guard. But I don't see a resemblance to the Remington 870.--Jcordell 13:07, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

You won't have to worr about that anymore as the page has been deleted. Unless the guns are drawn good enough, we don't accept cartoons. NOTE: Anime, and a select few cartoon movies are an exception. Take Family Guy for example, we don't have a page as most of the time, a pistol, let's say, is used. Usually it just looks like two rectangles, with a line for a trigger. Call that a 1911, or M9, and I'll call you an idiot (Not really of course) - User:1morey April 16, 2011 9:39 PM (EST)

Is the Model 1912, like the Model 1897, capable of being "slam-fired"? (i.e. Does it have a trigger disconnecter?) MrOshimida27 13:21, 22 April 2011 (CDT)
*Yes it can be slammed fired just like the 1897. --Jcordell 04:53, 16 July 2011 (CDT)
