20th of December (a direct translation of original title 20-e dekabrya) is a Soviet 1982 (filmed 1981) historical TV mini series directed by Grigori Nikulin. The story is set in December 1917, soon after the Russian revolution. Soviet power has to struggle against numerous enemies. On December 20, 1917 All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Conter-Revolution and Sabotage, shortly Vcheka (Vserossiyskaya chrezvychaynaya komissiya) or Cheka is founded. It is lead by Felix Dzerzhinsky.
