Clarice is a psychological horror crime drama television series that follows the characters first introduced in the 1991 feature film thriller The Silence of the Lambs. Rebecca Breeds stars in the series as the title character, rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling, who is still dealing with her traumatic encounter with the serial killer Buffalo Bill a year later. The series is set in the early 1990s, as Clarice is assigned by the US Attorney General to a special task force in order to investigate several murders that appear to be the work of another serial killer.
