The only appearances of the real gun are when the U.S. military assists the movie production or when stock footage is used.  The vast majority of A-10 Thunderbolts in film are now computer generated creations as are their GAU-8/A cannons, but for informational purposes we are listing these appearances here, since that is what the gun was intended to be.
