The Vigneron M2 was developed by Precision Liegoise SA, and was adopted by the Belgian Army in 1953. The design borrowed from both the German MP40 and the American M3 Grease Gun. It fires a standard 9x19mm round from an open bolt, and features a collapsible wire stock, compensated barrel, 32-round magazine, and a grip backstrap safety. The trigger functionality is of interesting note: when the weapon has full-auto selected, a short trigger squeeze will fire one round, and a long squeeze will engage full-auto mode.
