A Call to Spy details the exploits of real-life spies hired by the Special Operations Executive (SOE) and sent into France during World War II, written, produced, and starring Sarah Megan Thomas as American-born agent Virginia Hall. In addition to Virginia Hall, real-life SOE agents and administrators are depicted, including Vera Atkins (Stana Katic), Maurice Buckmaster (Linus Roache), and Noor Inayat Khan (Radhika Apte).
The following weapons were used in the film A Call to Spy:
Handguns
Luger P08
Virginia Hall (Sarah Megan Thomas) uses a Luger P08 when demonstrating how the French resistance can incorporate firearms into their work, instructing that "when you use a gun, double tap: torso, head." Lugers are also prominently used by German Army soldiers and Vichy officers.
M1911A1
A Vichy France policeman who encounters Virginia and her group on the street draws a M1911A1-style pistol from his holster.
Submachine Guns

Some SS personnel carry MP40 submachine guns, though the Karabiner 98k is seen in greater numbers as the standard weapon carried by the German military. Virginia's Maquis contact Alfonse (Andrew Richardson) also handles an MP40.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
Many Wehrmacht soldiers and SS personnel in occupied France carry Karabiner 98k rifles as were issued by the German military during World War II.
Shotguns
