Cold War 2 (Chinese Title: 寒戰 II) is a 2016 Hong Kong police thriller directed by Sunny Luk and Longman Leung. Set shortly after the events of the 2012 film Cold War, now police commissioner Sean Lau (Aaron Kwok) continues to unravel the conspiracy that led to the disappearance of an Emergency Unit van and its officers, including the involvement of his former rival MB Lee (Tony Leung Ka Fai) and Lee's son Joe (Eddie Peng). While uncovering the conspirators, Lau must also contend with a public inquiry led by Legislator Oswald Kan (Chow Yun-Fat).
