Nightmare City (Italian title: Incubo Sulla Citta Contaminata) is a 1980 Italian-Spanish-Mexican horror movie directed by Umberto Lenzi. An unmarked military plane coming from a nuclear plant disaster lands at the airport of an unnamed city in a unknown country, depicted as a nuclear power (the nation may be the United States, although none of the military personnel use weapons, uniforms, or equipment used by the contemporary United States military). The plane's passengers have been turned into intelligent, strong, and bloodthirsty zombies, starting a massacre and quickly overrunning the city. Reporter Dean Miller (Hugo Stiglitz) and his wife must find a way to escape the chaos as victims are infected and grow the ranks of the mutants.
