The M16A2 is one of the most commonly seen assault rifles in Season 4. It is dealt by SAMCRO to Galindo, and is also used by SAMCRO members, Galindo henchmen, and other gangs through the season. However, the rifles are referred to as "AR-15s", implying that they are semi-automatic, even though they are shown to fire full-auto/burst. Jax uses an M16A2 at the end of Episode 8, "Family Recipe", while Chibs uses one in Episode 11, "Call of Duty".

The SIG SG 552 carbine is another assault rifle that is seen often in Season 4 and sold by SAMCRO to Galindo. SG 552s are used in Episode 11, "Call of Duty" by both Romeo and Luis. In Episode 2, "Booster", when Jax is showing off the sample of weapons to Romeo and his men, he incorrectly refers to the SG 552s as "SIG 551s", referring to the longer-barreled SIG SG 551. Although the SG 551 does later appear in Episode 11, used by Jax himself, the rifles seen in Episode 2 are the shorter SG 552.

The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the television series Sons of Anarchy:
Pistols
Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1
Jackson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam) continues to use his custom Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1 as his main sidearm on the show, which he has used since Season 2.
Heckler & Koch USP
Clarence "Clay" Morrow (Ron Perlman) carries the Heckler & Koch USP as his main sidearm, another holdover weapon from Seasons 2 and 3. Jax handles Clay's USP near the climax of Episode 12, "Burnt and Purged Away", and fires it in the beginning of Episode 13, "To Be, Act 1".
Ruger SR9
