The '''Leader Dynamics T2 MK5 Series weapons''' were 5.56mm NATO firearms created by Australian Designer Charles St. George and manufactured by Leader Dynamics of Smithfield, NSW, Australia between 1978-1983. This was Australia's first entry into the domestic design and sale of a select fire/semi auto carbine/pistol/SMG for both Military and Civilian sales in Australia and abroad. Not many were imported into the U.S. and thus are one of the rarest 'assault rifle/pistol' firearms in private hands.
