I don't think this is an actual 'snub' 29. It does appear to be an N-frame and does have the full-length .44-size cylinder but it can't be a .44 - The tapered barrel is an automatic giveaway (Compare to the other 29s and the 629 snub on the main page). I'm just surprised I didn't notice it earlier. StanTheMan 19:46, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

- I only ask because having the 29 and 629 both under one page is a bit confusing, especially when the rest of the earlier Smith and Wesson guns (pistols included) all have separate pages for each of the blue steel guns and their stainless counterparts. == Short Barreled 629s ==

I think that the custom barrels of the 629s from Extreme Prejudice, Beverly Hills Cop and The Hitcher are made by John Jovino Gun Shop or Magna-Port Combat Conversion Kit, but more probably is Magna Port. With a quick search on google you understand what I mean.

Look at the thin compensation holes in the middle of the barrel. It's a peculiarity of both brands.
