Crusader (Krestonosets) is a 1995 Russian action movie directed by Mikhail Tumanishvili and Aleksandr Inshakov. A Russian film crew makes a movie about crusaders. One the set in Turkey, a stunt performer perishes. It turns out that his death was set up by criminals who smuggled a large batch of drugs across the border in the coffin. Then the film's producer is killed, and the funds are stolen. Leading stunt performer Aleksandr Konov (Aleksandr Inshakov) begins his personal investigation.
In 1997 the movie was followed by a sequel Unfamiliar Weapon, or Crusader 2 (Neznakomoye oruzhie, ili Krestonosets 2), also describing the adventures of Aleksandr Konov but in more comedy tone.
The following weapons were used in the film Crusader (Krestonosets):
Revolvers
Unidentified revolvers
Turkish police officers carry snub nose revolvers. Smith & Wesson Model 10 was a service sidearm of Turkish National Police until the mid 1990s but these guns look different.
Pistols
Makarov PM
In the climactic scene Militsiya Maj. Puzyryov (Vladimir Ilyin) and several criminals hold Makarov PM pistols. Aleksandr Konov (Aleksandr Inshakov) takes Puzyryov's pistol.
TT-33
During the kidnapping of Olga, one of the bandits is armed with a TT-33. Isa's henchmen carry TT pistols in the scene in the restaurant basement. Aleksandr Konov (Aleksandr Inshakov) disarms one of them and uses the pistol. In the climactic shootout when four rival gangs of Anton, Slava "Dokhlyiy", Ergen and Gago fight each other, several bandits use TT pistols.
Walther P38
In the climactic shootout several criminals are armed with Walther P38 pistols. Aleksandr Konov (Aleksandr Inshakov) takes a P38 from a killed bandit.
M1911A1
In the climactic shootout crime bosses Ergen (Eldor Urazbaev) and Gago (Tofik Shakhverdiev) carry M1911-style pistols, most likely M1911A1s.
Unidentified pistol
In one scene a criminal (Sergey Kozachenko) fires at Konov. The pistol is seen very briefly and unclear. The bandit claims that his gun fires plastic less-lethal bullets.
Antique Pistols
Two antique pistols are seen on the wall in the villa where Konov temporary works as a guard. One of them is a "Knee Pistol" with Jezail style buttstock. The type of the lock hardly can be seen but flintlock seems to be more possible. The second pistol resembles an Over and Under Howdah Pistol but this is only a guess.
Submachine Guns
Sa 26
During the car chase after Konov and Olga, one of the criminals holds an Sa 26 submachine gun. Sa 26 are used by several criminals in the climactic shootout.
MP40
What seems to be an MP40 is briefly seen in hands of "Dokhlyiy"'s henchman.
Rifles
SVD
A hitman uses an SVD in an attempt of Anton Karavaev.
Unidentified rifle (musket?)
A rifle or musket of unknown model is seen on the wall in the villa. This is a military gun with full-length stock and seemingly some kind of external hammer.
Assault Rifles
AKMS
During the kidnapping of Olga, one of the bandits is armed with an AKMS until he is disarmed by Aleksandr Konov. A criminal holds an AKMS (or may be an AKM as the buttstock isn't seen) during the car chase after Konov and Olga. Criminals also use AKMS in the climactic shootout.
AKM
Several of Gago's henchmen are armed with AKM assault rifles.
Machine Guns
PK
PK machine guns are used by Gago's and Ergen's gangs, including Ergen (Eldor Urazbaev) himself, during the climactic shootout.
Other Weapons
Custom Non-Firing Sniper Rifle
A non-firing movie prop of a suppressed sniper rifle is seen in several scenes. It was specially made for 1986 film Interception (Perekhvat), using parts of various real guns (some of them were taken from Heckler & Koch G3). In addition to the sniper scope, the gun is fitted with the laser sighting device.
F-1 Hand Grenade
During the encounter in the restaurant basement, criminals make an attempt to kill Konov with an F-1 hand grenade. Anton Karavaev (Pyotr Zaychenko) and several other criminals use F-1 grenades in the final scene.
RPG-7
One of the criminals fires an RPG-7 in the climactic shootout. The launcher is seen only unloaded, even when "firing".
