Geostorm is a 2017 disaster film co-written and directed by Dean Devlin, the producer of such films as Independence Day, Stargate (1994), and The Day After Tomorrow. Gerard Butler stars as Jake Lawson, a scientist who must find a way to disable the satellite system that has caused several global weather disasters.
