Charlie's Angels is a television action series produced by Aaron Spelling and focuses on three female police officers working in mundane units of their respective departments who are recruited by a mysterious boss named Charlie into a private investigation service. Dubbed his "angels", the women solved cases that often involved undercover work. The series, which underwent several cast changes, aired in the US on ABC from 1976 to 1981 and would spawn several "reboots", including a 2011 television revival, and three feature films in 2000, 2003, and 2019.
