Shakedown is a 1988 action thriller starring Peter Weller as Ronald Dalton, a New York public defender who finds that his drug dealer client who is accused of shooting an undercover NYPD officer may be involved in a deeper case of corruption involved other officers in the department. Dalton then enlists the help of veteran NYPD detective Richie Marks (Sam Elliott) to help uncover the truth. The film was directed by James Glickenhaus and was notable for featuring a .45 Magnum pistol, namely the LAR Grizzly.

NYPD Detective Richie Marks (Sam Elliott) carries a LAR Grizzly Pistol fitted with a compensator, chambered in .45 Winchester Magnum as his main sidearm in the film.
Beretta 92F
Attorney Ronald Dalton (Peter Weller) is given a Beretta 92F to back up Marks when they investigate a Times Square adult establishment. He is seen using it during the motorcycle chase.
Steyr GB
A Steyr GB appears to be the handgun used by Julio (Anthony Crivello) who confronts Marks at the Coney Island pier.

Ithaca 37 (Custom Short Barrel Stakeout)
A customized Ithaca 37 Stakeout shotgun with a shortened barrel and magazine tube, a ventilated barrel shroud and a folding vertical grip is used by Det. Rydel (Larry Joshua) during a raid on a drug den. This one is similar to a shotgun used in Season 2 of Miami Vice.

Heckler & Koch MP5K
A Heckler & Koch MP5K fitted with a laser sight is used by Marks during the drug raid.

After taking out two NYPD cops with wrist mounted ballistic knives, Big Leroy (Henry Judd Baker) fires on a Times Square crowd with his concealed Micro Uzi.
Rydel's Guns
Before the drug raid, Det. Rydel opens his trunk that is filled with several weapons.
