Midnight Run is a 1988 action comedy starring Robert De Niro as Jack Walsh, a former Chicago cop now working as a bounty hunter who has to endure a cross-country trip with Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charles Grodin), a bail-jumping bookkeeper he was trying to bring back from New York to Los Angeles in order to collect his fee.
