Ferry to Hong Kong is a 1959 British adventure movie directed by Lewis Gilbert and starring Curd Jürgens and Orson Welles. Mark Bertram Conrad (Jürgens), a tramp and troublemaker, is expelled from Hong Kong and sent to Macao on board of the ferry Fa Tsan under Captain Hart (Welles). When Macao authorities forbids Conrad from going ashore, he has to become a permanent passenger though Hart heavily dislikes it. Only an encounter with a typhoon and pirates makes relations between Conrad and Captain Hard quite different.
