My New Partner (original title Les ripoux, a French criminal slang word for corrupted cops) is a 1984 French crime comedy directed by Claude Zidi and starring Philippe Noiret as an experienced rascal police detective René Boirond and Thierry Lhermitte as his young and idealistic partner François Lesbuche. The film was followed by two sequels, My New Partner II (Ripoux contre ripoux) (1990) and Ripoux 3 (2003).

François Lesbuche's (Thierry Lhermitte) service handgun is a Manurhin MR-73 revolver with 3" barrel, duty sights and wooden grip. MR-73 revolvers are also seen in hands of other police detectives.
Smith & Wesson Military & Police
During the night shootout one of the police detectives is armed with a revolver that appears to be a Smith & Wesson Military & Police. It can be not an original Smith & Wesson but one of its numerous Spanish copies.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
In the same scene another police detective is armed with a revolver that appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 15.

In the final scene the crime boss Camoun (Bernard Bijaoui) is armed with a M1911A1-style pistol.

In one scene Marcel, Camoun's henchman, uses his pistol to open a bottle of Champagne. The pistol resembles a Colt Commander.
FN Model 1910/MAB Model D
In the opening scene one of the police detectives holds a pistol that is supposed to be an FN Model 1910 or MAB Model D.
