Native Shores (Rodnye berega) is a Soviet 1943 B&W war movie directed by Vladimir Braun and Nikolai Sadkovich. It consists of two segments, both of which take place in Summer 1942 on the Black Sea coast. In the first segment "Tri gvardeytsa" ("Three soldiers of Guard unit") a small group of Soviet soldiers is sent on commando mission in a German-occupied coastal town. The second segment, "Propavshiy bez vesti" ("Missing in action") depicts the adventures of the crew of Soviet motor torpedo boat that appears without fuel near the lighthouse that is now manned by Germans. Due to unclear reasons the movie was never released in USSR, only in mid-2000s it was found in Gosfilmofond Archive and released on DVD.

The following weapons were used in the film Native Shores (Rodnye berega):

Tokarev M1927

During the battle on the lighthouse a German soldier carries a gun that isn't seen clear but it's general outlook greatly resembles Tokarev M1927 submachine gun. It was an experimental weapon, chambered for 7.62mm Nagant cartridges. Tokarev SMG was never adopted for service but several hundred pieces were produced for extensive trials, so one of these guns could appear in the movie.
