The Atis R.G. 700 is an Italian pump-action shotgun produced and sold by the Atis Armi S.P.A. It was closely associated with the Fabarm SDASS, but can be distinguished by different furniture with unique rectangular-shape forend and streamlined receiver. R.G. 700 were also exported by Franchi (in mid-80s), but this apparently did not last long. The Atis was also exported to South Africa as the Clarbex CX-12.
This design was also later produced as Valtro R05 shotgun (sometimes mistakenly referred to as "RO5"). Valtro shotguns have an angular receiver like the original Fabarm.
The R.G. 700/R05 also has the better-known Atis Trusty PM2/Valtro PM5 "brothers", which is fed from detachable box magazines.
All shotguns of this type will be referred to this page to avoid confusion and to be distinguished from the original Fabarm shotguns.
