::Thanks, now I can say that it's really a Walther Mod 4. The visually short slide was only the effect of the angle of view. I have little knowledge of these hunting rifles but as for me, the rifle may be a kind of Mauser Sporter. Maybe Rigby or Westley Richards rifles, they all have Mauser action. Speaking about the takedown rifle: as we can see via google, Haenel-Mannlicher rifles tend to have the bolt handle placed forwards to the trigger, while the screen gun has the bolt handle placed different.
