Against All Odds is a 1984 thriller directed by Taylor Hackford (Proof of Life) and stars Jeff Bridges as Terry Brogan, an aging pro football quarterback who reluctantly accepts a job from an old friend (James Woods) to help locate his missing girlfriend (Rachel Ward). Brogan then finds himself unexpectedly falling in love with the girlfriend.

Colt New Service
Hank Sully (Alex Karras) carries a Colt New Service revolver as searches in the ruins for Terry Brogan (Jeff Bridges) and Jessie Wyler (Rachel Ward). Jessie is later seen holding the revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
A security guard is seen armed with a suppressed Smith & Wesson Model 15 that Terry tries to struggle it away from.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 (Snub)
A 2.5" barrel Smith & Wesson Model 19 is first seen in the hands of Tommy (Dorian Harewood) at the end of the movie. Both Terry and Jessie are seen with the revolver as well.
Walther PP
Jake Wise (James Woods) pulls a Walther PP as he takes Jessie hostage.
