There is currently a civilian carbine version of this: [https://gunsbroker.ru/img/a/ma-aps-kalibr-9x18_1542388461.jpg]. The barrel is solid, the stock is not removable. And yes, it can also be ordered nickel or gold plated, with an expensive-wood stock. --[[User:Slon95|Slon95]] ([[User talk:Slon95|talk]]) 13:04, 11 September 2020 (EDT)

APS in 9x19?

I just read on wicked Wikipedia that the Stechkin APS is available in both 9x18 and 9x19. This probably isn't true, but is there any chance it is? Jeddostotle7 21:38, 28 July 2012 (CDT)

APS Stechkin is available only in 9x18 Makarov Bednardos 09:44, 29 July 2012 (EET)
Knew it. I was just checking to be fully sure. Jeddostotle7 10:55, 29 July 2012 (CDT)

Wait

Why is both "Stechkin" and "Stetchkin" used on the page? Which is it? Mr. Wolf (talk) 20:35, 7 July 2014 (EDT)

According to wikipedia, it was named after Igor Stechkin, who spelled it with only one T. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:45, 7 July 2014 (EDT)
