Just wondering, where did you get the pictures of the L85A2 and L86A2 that show the left side of the gun? For some reason the bolt release catch (square button under the cheek rest) appears to be in the wrong place being too far back (there is a hole in the correct position). Are they airsoft, replicas or what?  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] 10:01, 30 April 2012 (CDT)

:Not really, a good example is [http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/File:L85A2Iron.jpg this] image of an L85A2 which was origianlly a correct gun although not a great image, which you replaced with a replica which was inaccurate having the bolt release in the wrong place (I have since reverted it to the original correct image). There are probably cases on this site where replicas or airsoft have unknowingly been used for a gun image, but if you are knowingly using a replica you should note it in the caption, and never replace a real image of the gun as there can be differences which can be confusing if you don't know it is a replica and not necessarily 100% accurate.  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] 11:16, 25 August 2012 (CDT)

44 Minutes and Tropic Thunder

Awesome work on the SCreen caps. THANKS! I can try to remove some of the subtitling if you want just to clean up the image. Thanks again. MoviePropMaster2008 20:32, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Episodes in FMP

Can you tell me which episodes in Full Metal Panic where some of the guns you added are?

No GIFs

I don't think GIFs of some guns are really nessessary.

My Airsoft

So what do you think of my Airsoft? Excalibur01 02:25, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

The WE M4 is a pretty good gas rifle. I plan to get it since I saw it in action in my last game. When I slapped the bolt catch, it felt amazing. Excalibur01 04:30, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Actually, my M4 is made from several parts. From King Arms, G&P, Prometheus, Systema, Marui and rail covers from magpul. It originally was made by Classic Army, but I've change the parts so many times, I think the only thing that's classic army is the stock. I had a custom machined RIS so that it can fit a battery inside it. I swapped the lower receiver with one that bears the colt logo on it. The majority of the US army and the Marines uses Colts, only the special forces get to have whatever they want. Excalibur01 04:31, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Defiance movie page

Kin93 I am warning you right now. IMFDB is based in the UNITED STATES. The images on this page are from the online trailer to the movie and have been released to the public. Anything other than the trailer for a movie that has not been released is not LEGAL. DO NOT post images from BOOTLEGS of movies. This movie is set to be released on January 16th, 2009. If you continue to constantly post bootleg images, as an administrator, I WILL BAN YOU! MoviePropMaster2008 09:53, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Black Hawk Down

I noticed you added some shots to the Black Hawk Down page. While it is good you found more guns in the movie that were missed, it is not encouraged that you use widescreen screencaps and bootlegs are not allowed after or before a release (they are not allowed before a release because they are illegal and are not allowed after because they are low quality and make pages look bad). Because of this, I'm afraid I'm going to have to replace your images with legit shots from my DVD. I hope you don't mind, because I have to do it either way. It would be most recommended you refrain from using bootlegs in any situation because they look terrible. Plus Bunni and I worked very hard on the BHD page, and when bootleg shots are added, it makes our work look bad. Please don't think I'm a dick for sending this message, my intention is not to make you mad but to inform you of your mistake in hope you won't do it again. As you can see, I care for all my pages I contribute to and the fact I'm staying up all night to fix it shows my devotion. Have a good night. - Gunmaster45

Canaan screenshots

You have too many screenshots on your Canaan page. Per the IMFDB rules, cut it down. You have 35 (!!!!!!) screenshots of the PX4. Please cut it down to under 10. Thank you for your coooperation. MoviePropMaster2008 23:02, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Image Tamper Warning

I just reverted the changes you made to the Norinco QBZ-95 image. The original image was far superior to the version you uploaded (magazine loaded, better dimensions). Please do not tamper with any image unless there is no question that the version you upload is better than the original. Orca1 9904 13:44, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

As Orca said above please don't tamper with good quality images by a uploading a poorer one over them. The new versions of the images for the Gepard anti-material rifle series you uploaded were larger in size but the background was scattered with spots and markings. Hence I had to delete them because the earlier pictures though smaller in size had better backrounds.--SB2296 07:37, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Springfield rifle images

I'm glad You found a better picture of the M1903A3 standard rifle and M1903A4 sniper rifle, but I've been wondering, where did you get such nice pictures. I looked for a hour on Google and Bing and found nothing, which is why the fomer pic of Remington "Springfield" 03A3 was of low grade. If it is not much of a problem, I would love to know where you found the images and what search engine you used to find them. - Kilgore 19:03, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

i was forget , where i found this , because is so long time ,sorry....

just "maybe" i found at deactivated-guns.co.uk--Kin93 10:52, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Link

I hope you don't mind, but I added an "!" to the FMP link on your user page. I've been revamping the article, and I moved it to a properly punctuated page. I'm just trying to clean up all of the old links.--PistolJunkie 03:03, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Angel Beats!

So you like this anime too? Excalibur01 20:09, 28 November 2010 (UTC) yes~ this anime is good~--Kin93 02:53, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

No PNG's

PNG image files take up too much server space, please convert them to jpeg. You can do it in windows paint, just change the format. --Predator20 16:39, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Aria the Scarlet Ammo

If there are no trailers or promo screens of the actual show (not the books), do not make a page for it. By doing so, you are essentially (a) making a page for the books since that's what you're basing its content solely on, and (b) assuming that there will be no changes whatsoever between the books and the show. The anime category is already somewhat controversial, and there are some of us who put a lot of effort into making sure that anime pages are as close to perfect as possible. Stuff like this (pages that are grossly incomplete, don't conform to formatting standards and don't even meet the criteria for inclusion) kind of undermine it.--PistolJunkie 22:10, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

Gen 4 Glocks

I removed the pics of the Gen 4 Glock 26 and 27. If those guns haven't appeared in any movies or TV shows yet (which is unlikely, since they just came out last year), they don't need pictures on the Glock page. -MT2008 17:34, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Incomplete Pages

I was going through the anime section and cleaning up the categorization, and I noticed that a lot of your pages are tagged as incomplete due to their being no description for each weapon listing (i.e. what weapon is used, who uses it, and in what context). If you were to go back through the articles you've made and add in these descriptions, most of those "incomplete" tags will probably start being removed. Just a little tip.--PistolJunkie 04:14, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

thx for your tips --Kin93 12:15, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

These are the pages you've made that need descriptions and links (and in some cases, stock weapon images) for each weapon listing. There are a few that have too many images as well, so they need to be trimmed down:
Nichijou
Aria the Scarlet Ammo
Corpse Princess
Akikan!
Hyakko
Toaru Majutsu no Index
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
Mayoi Neko Overrun!
B Gata H Kei
Omamori Himari
Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka
Joukyou Kaishi!
Little Busters!
And remember, you're making pages for games, OVAs, TV series, and movies. The poster/cover image should be from that, not the comics or books. If you need a piece of coding, feel free to jack it from one of my pages. Just please try to bring your pages up to IMFDB standards. It reflects poorly on the site when pages are left half-finished, and since most of us already have pages that we're working (I've got my hands full with Michiko e Hatchin at the moment) on and don't always have time to go back and clean up other peoples' pages.
--PistolJunkie 14:47, 9 April 2011 (CDT)

now, i have done some page , but you need to know something . At ::Little Busters! if you play that game , you will know have M134 , but didn't not have any photo , same as ::Joukyou Kaishi!.. --Kin93 04:14, 10 April 2011 (CDT)

I don't mean screenshots (you have most of those), I mean the stock images of the weapons found on the page for each weapon. And seriously, a simple description is better than none at all. It can be as little as "Character Name uses a Weapon Name & Link". Just add something so that these pages can be marked as complete. You've been uploading more new screencaps for My Ordinary Life, yet not one of the sections that's already there is complete. Also, when you respond to a comment on your talk page, do so on the other user's talk page, that way the site lets them know that you've responded.--PistolJunkie 01:55, 15 April 2011 (CDT)
And there's a 10 screencap limit per weapon listing.--PistolJunkie 16:28, 5 May 2011 (CDT)

Hanasaku Iroha page

Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous. You have now created yet another page that lacks any descriptions and links under each weapon listing. Those descriptions are part of the standard formatting. Is there a reason that you're not even bothering with these even after you've been told that they're needed?--PistolJunkie 12:41, 16 May 2011 (CDT)

Section Descriptions

Please, I have already mentioned this several times, but you need to add descriptions and links to each listing when you make a page. A page is not complete until it has a description and link with each listing. Why do you keep making pages without finishing them?--PistolJunkie 11:35, 9 October 2011 (CDT)

As above. Why are you still not doing this, after all the times you've been told? Evil Tim 08:11, 10 October 2011 (CDT)
I appreciate that you're adding descriptions to the images, but that's not what I'm talking about. I mean the descriptions under each heading that go something along the lines of "Joe Smith uses a (gun name with link)." It's not hard, and right now you've made dozens of pages that do not conform to site standards.--PistolJunkie 11:06, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

A Dangerous Man

Thanks for the rework on the Norinco QBZ-97 for A Dangerous Man, it seems you noticed things I did not see initially. Just for my reference, can you let me know how you saw that what I assumed could possibly be a domestic Norinco QBZ-95 was actually a Norinco QBZ-97 with a modified trigger guard? For your reference, I did a minor re-write of the corresponding text for this model to make the situation more clear to the reader. --PeeWee055 08:16, 16 November 2011 (CST)

you can see when that guy reload the gun, the magazine is 5.56 . And the first version / some Early version QBZ97 is useing QBZ-95 trigger guard.

Error creating thumbnail: File missing
At this Scshot ,you can see the magazine is 5.56 , so this is Norinco QBZ-97

--Kin93 08:41, 16 November 2011 (CST)

Turn the subs off

Hey just a heads up. In the future, when you do screencaps, can you please have the subtitles turned OFF? The Chinese subs aren't exactly necessary, because not everyone who checks out this site knows the language. If they were English, then I wouldn't mind. --HashiriyaR32 20:53, 10 April 2012 (CDT)

I'm going to completely redo the screencaps for Jormungand (and probably take over the page completely), so don't worry about that one. On a side note; please, again, we've asked you several times now, START ADDING DESCRIPTIONS FOR EACH SECTION! The format is Header - Description with link - stock image - screencap (usually with description). What do we have to do to get you stop making incomplete pages?--PistolJunkie 21:24, 10 April 2012 (CDT)

sorry for that , at first day ver. ,i can't turn off the subtitles, because most of that have subtitles . but i will try to found or get some sc caps without subtitles for the DESCRIPTIONS , i need time to do this , i can't add it at same time. --Kin93 03:03, 11 April 2012 (CDT)

Can't add them at the same time? What the hell are you talking about? It's just typing a description when you make the page. It's not hard. Every other editor who actually puts effort into their pages has descriptions in a page when it first goes live without any issues.--PistolJunkie 08:55, 11 April 2012 (CDT)

New Listings

Whenever you add a new listing for a gun, please add it after the existing listings. That way whenever someone scrolls to a section the guns will either be (a) in order of appearance or (b) listed with the first seen and most likely the protagonists' weapon listed at the beginning of the section. When you add new listings to the beginning of a category, it means that the first few handguns/rifles/etc. are all minor weapons that probably only appear once.--PistolJunkie 23:19, 28 April 2012 (CDT)

SA80 pictures

Just wondering, where did you get the pictures of the L85A2 and L86A2 that show the left side of the gun? For some reason the bolt release catch (square button under the cheek rest) appears to be in the wrong place being too far back (there is a hole in the correct position). Are they airsoft, replicas or what? --commando552 10:01, 30 April 2012 (CDT) They are replicas .--Kin93 11:47, 30 April 2012 (CDT)

FPG pictures

These are airsoft replicas aren't they? Am pretty sure the FPG is the airsoft version of the FMG-9. --commando552 06:08, 25 August 2012 (CDT)

yes , this is airsoft replicas by KWA --Kin93 06:09, 25 August 2012 (CDT)
