Doesn't this weapon have a ridiculously heavy trigger pull?

:I got to try one out once, and I'd say it was at least 15 pounds (it may have been more; my estimates usually undershoot a little.) It's not as bad as you might think at first, but it'll make your trigger finger ache after shooting it for a long enough period of time. Other than that I rather liked the thing, but I'm apparently in the minority.--[[User:PistolJunkie|PistolJunkie]] 05:55, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Trigger

Doesn't this weapon have a ridiculously heavy trigger pull?

I got to try one out once, and I'd say it was at least 15 pounds (it may have been more; my estimates usually undershoot a little.) It's not as bad as you might think at first, but it'll make your trigger finger ache after shooting it for a long enough period of time. I have heard very few people speak well of this gun.

Number made

The TV Tropes website claims that since the VP70M was turned down by every police and military organization it was offered to, only about 3,000 were made. Is this true? Spartan198 (talk) 19:40, 29 May 2020 (EDT)

Portugal Army Weapon Systems Handbook claims that VP70M was issued to Portugal military but does not specify the quantity. Possibly the pistol was used by some special force (makes sense) and was ordered in small numbers. Modern Firearms says that "Production of the military / law enforcement version, VP-70M, had been ceased within few years." --Greg-Z (talk) 02:22, 30 May 2020 (EDT)
